The strange thing about Kate Rheeders is not so much about
what she does but, more about how she does it. In a nutshell; she teaches
authenticity. I sense your thought: ‘Surely this cannot be taught?’ and, I agree. Let me explain …
In her early years, Kate went unnoticed, being child # 5 of 8 born to an assayer and his lovely, loyal and serving wife. Born screaming and kicking against the boundaries set by two devoting parents; she remained a challenge throughout her childhood with her constant questioning and probing on all levels. She learned early to conform externally while exploring internally, creating a private safe-haven in all things hidden. Being particularly bright with mathematics, young Kate’s dream was to study medicine but, being one of many, this was financially not an option.
Chemistry, as a second option, brought her to UP where she did her BSc degree after-hours, sponsored by UCOR. Her experience in uranium enrichment resulted in her entrance into the water industry, where life became truly magical. On the personal platform, during 1983 Kate met and decided to marry an Israeli chap, necessitating conversion to Judaism. One day in Botswana, destiny claimed her passion for Kabbalah. Kate was doing reclamation trials for an abattoir and realised, quite by ‘accident’, that water had memory. Within a week, she had transformed from scientist to mystic and, as they say in the classics, the rest is history.
In 1992, after the break-up of her relationship, it was time for Kate to further her explorations into the Kabbalah on a full-time basis. Being particularly aware of the nature of energy, she soon realised that investigation must lead to manifestation and the old saying of ‘When the student is ready, the teacher will appear’ materialised in the formation of small sharing groups. Over time these became formal workshops with many incredibly changed lives as a result. Kate’s practice is continuing to grow into a well respected, authentic place of refuge for those seeking their true selves.
• Workshop notes were sent to a British publisher in 1996 and her first publication
‘Qabalah. A Beginner’s Guide’ was brought into being. Her second book
‘Some Traditional African Beliefs’ followed soon after. Just prior to her third publication
‘Master your Number, Master your Life’ her Kabbalah book was translated into
Russian. Kate’s writing was also frequently published in the Complete Yoga Magazine and occasionally in the Odyssey Magazine.

ordinary lifestyle, her head is in the clouds enabling her to experience the mystical forces without the limitations of the senses. Her uncanny ability to move from the micro to the macro view of life has set her apart from her peers.
Kate is a well-read, highly sought after speaker and facilitator who frequently presents her work on the international platform; more specifically America, Africa and Europe. Being an African in every way, she has built her base in Benoni
(Gauteng), where her immediate environment and community benefit from her wisdom, satisfying her need to contribute to both local and global affairs.
Kate says: “Like a fish pond left unattended gathers dirt and contaminants over time, every human being accumulates impurities that cover his/her truth. Within every human being is an original, magical and awesome core that brings authenticity into every aspect of his/her life. I guide an individual through the process of uncovering his/her core. I guess I still treat water, except I no longer do so in factories, instead I do so in human beings. Not surprising … considering that approximately 75% of our bodies consist of water!”
