Kate Rheeders Newsletter - September 2009
There
is no right way to do something wrong -
Unknown
September is synonymous with spring-cleaning, blossoms, falling in love and dieting. For me, it has always been a bitter-sweet process to pack away the winter-woolies and make space for the summer-stuff. I have always preferred to share a bottle of red wine near a log fire on a cold winter’s evening to frolicking in water, drinking a beer with the sun on my face. However, even I am excited with the new possibilities that Mother Nature is producing in partnership with this amazing weather. My wish for you this spring is to be surrounded by beauty and love in a clean safe space called home.
The intention behind this newsletter is two-fold. First of all it is to keep you informed on the services I provide and secondly to share some of my insights with you. I have ‘spring-cleaned’ my Outlook address book, erasing some contacts and including others. Although it is NOT my intention to annoy anyone, you may not wish to receive mail from me in future. If this is the case, please drop me a line and I will drop your details from my mailing list.
My plan for this month includes the start of a Kabalah One group to meet after work from 18h00 till 21h00. The venue and the day for this group to meet are at this stage quite flexible and the best way to ensure your inclusion is to either phone me or mail me. I will gladly provide all the necessary explanations. For those of you that have already been through this wonderful course and wish to continue your growth, you may be interested in joining a Kabalah Two group that is due to start in Benoni on 16 September at 09h00.
Another exciting event is taking place on Saturday 12 September when I will teach the basics of Numerology to a few individuals. This is an incredibly powerful science and tool that offers very clear answers to those complicated situations that we so frequently find ourselves in. We will have a full day by starting at 09h00 and continue until about 17h00, with all your needs (snacks, notes etc) provided for. Make sure your name is on the list!!
Honesty
is the first chapter in the book of Wisdom -
Thomas Jefferson
Last week, while driving to and from
Jo’burg, I spent time with a young 14 year old girl that needed guidance on an issue typical to teenagers, i.e. HONESTY. I shared with her a philosophy that I heard about a long time ago –
if you tell no lies for 12 years, then all you say will be
true. Think about this statement for a moment… True to my nature, I needed to explore this is great depth. Poor child, she couldn’t escape the onslaught. If you wish to flee from my explanation, then I suggest you skip the next paragraph.
First of all, what is a lie? We have cleverly disguised an omission by calling it a ‘white’ lie and turning it into an acceptable untruth. Some of us lie without even thinking and
allow it to become second nature. At times we may not lie through our speech but rather through our actions – especially in our relationships - resulting in living an unacceptable truth. I believe most of us try to avoid lying in order to escape the consequences – not necessarily a bad thing but a negative one. However, the above statement can turn an expelling experience into an embracing practice by bringing rewards for honesty. Our courts are purely focused on righting the wrongs – swinging from one extreme to another – by
balancing a negative with another negative. There are very few institutions that reward a positive with a positive even though we all hope that the right in our doing will not go unnoticed. Imagine the power that you will have when after 12 years your words carry the authority to manifest your truth - or simply put, make things happen.
Your clock starts ticking down your 12 year period every time after you utter a lie. Perhaps when you are ready, you can allow this ticking clock to continue for long enough to practice pure honesty until it becomes your second (original maybe?) nature. Maybe those powerful people that could make things happen – like Moses parting the waters – applied this specific rule in their lives. With at least 6 billion people on the planet, it is a sad fact that we haven’t encountered – at least I haven’t – a ‘Moses’ in our lifetime. I would like to add my opinion, specifically for those of you that know the Tree of Life; the manner in which we communicate with the world – both verbal and not – is measurable in Hod (level 8), becomes either beneficial in Geburah (level 5), or, offers guilty nights in Yesod (level 9) and/or isolation in Malchuth (level 10). For those unfamiliar with this wonderful system, I would like to extend an invitation to join the next Kabalah One group and restore yourself to the authentic being you were born to be.
To everyone that have received this mail from me for the first time, please check out my website as it contains some interesting stuff. The pace at which I am able to manage the site is getting better by the day and soon I will be as clever as my kid – I hope!!! Keep in mind that I do recorded (on
cd) numerology readings as well as telephonic consultations for those outside
Gauteng. I hope you have benefited from reading this and will chat to you soon.
Regards,
Kate Rheeders
