Kate Rheeders enjoys sharing her knowledge and insights,
particularly on a public platform where people randomly get
together. Her philosophy is that nothing and nobody happens by
accident and when insight is shared freely, it doubles in
strength. This free sharing is achieved in a number of ways:
Even though the dogma of religion is a big 'taboo' for Kate,
she often works the platform at the Spiritual Churches. Dates of
when and where are posted on the PROGRAMpage and you are
invited. Remember, there is no such thing as accident and if you
find yourself 'co-incidentally' in the area, join the service
and allow yourself to see things from a different perspective.
Kate says: ‘Though I frequently do addresses at the SpiritualChurches, as well as the
Theosophical Societies, I prefer to steer away from organized religion. It is a means to an end and I choose to
make my own way through life, using the spiritual element in all
religions.’
Mind and Body Fayre
These have become a monthly event and when time and place are
synchronized, Kate steps onto her soapbox to share her ideas.
These events are well publicized through Danie and Berry and are
also posted on the PROGRAMpage. Once again, you are invited to open
your mind and feed your soul.
‘Besides the fact that Danie
and Berry are one of the nicest couples I know, I enjoy these Fayres because ordinary people come together with a
common goal; searching for a deeper meaning in life. They are real, receptive and give an honest
reflection of the needs of regular folks,' says Kate.
Kate is a director of a section 21 company called Intwassa Education
Foundation, whom are a group of people who are concerned about
young underprivileged individuals. They have a number of projects
on the go to empower and uplift the young ones.
Kate says: ‘I serve on a number of section 21 Boards and find
this a meaningful and inspiring experience that keeps me humble and in awe
of the caring and compassion out there. There is no better way to spend your spare time than to serve
those less fortunate that yourself.’
